Bangus (Milkfish) is one of our staple seafood on our households. It has garnered an irresistible reputation that it even required fishermen to put up of fish ponds to raise these wonderful fishes to keep up with the demand. Aside from its tasty meat, its versatility of being compatible on almost all cooking methods is one that makes this fish stand out. Frying it is one of the best thing for this fish, and we’re going to try this one from Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus on this food review.
Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus boasts of their enormous Fried (and Crispy) Bangus, with a few twists. They offer quite a good range of fried Bangus flavors – yes you got that right, they offer different kinds of flavors and we’re excited we are going to feature some of them in this food review.
Big Boneless Bangs (Original flavor)
Of course, we wouldn’t want to pass up the opportunity to make a Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus Food Review without trying it their original flavor. What it initially stands out apart from its enormous size is their generous amount of toasted garlic all over the meat. Being partnered with the crispy fried state, the taste is a truly crunchy feel. Their provided sauce is vinegar based so it easily complements it. However, we tried it with the usual Calamansi (Philippine Lemon) / Soy Sauce combination even made it perfect.

Big Boneless Bangs (Cheese flavor)
We bet you haven’t heard Fried Bangus can be spread with Cheese, right? Well, we are too and we somehow can’t believe that Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus could get away with one. The taste is we could say that it still has that same Original flavor but it now has that creamy feeling because of the cheese. We can say that it is very near to baked mussels but it has a crunchy taste to it.
We couldn’t describe it further but all we can say is that it definitely is a must try.

Big Boneless Bangus (Inasal Flavor)
Inasal flavor??? Really??? That’s our first reaction was when we saw this flavor in the menu. Does the inasal sauce could complement with fish? Well, our curiosity really glued us with this one so we took the opportunity to try it out and feature in this food review.
Of course it has the base feel and taste of the original flavor with its crunchy meat. However, what’s made this one great that the Inasal flavor is well infused to the meat. And did we say they have that oil we used to be fond of Chicken Inasal restaurants as its main sauce? Well we can’t say anything more.

Betting on it good, reaping the rewards
We can say that Bang Bang made eccentric flavors that we realized it is actually compatible with Fried Fish. We cannot say anything more but you should try them out once in a while.
