Updated with new dishes we recently tried…
There is a growing notion that Cafés generally serve great tasting coffee and at the same time offer a wide range of delicious dishes at the same time. Katherine’s Café probably is one of those Cafés that live up to that reputation.
We’re fortunate enough to be within the vicinity where Katherine’s Café has put up a new branch and we’re totally happy to check them out. The Café indeed offers a wide range of delicious dishes and we’re now going to feature some of them here in this food review.
Chicken and Pork Adobo
A staple local food, the version from Katherine’s Cafe would give you a little bit more of the feel of nostalgia but with a beautiful twist. Both meats are definitely tender and the garlic rice will completely complement all the dish in itself. Definitely a must try.

8 Hours Beef Casserole
One thing that’s really notable for this dish is that its meat is definitely tender and it almost literally melts in your mouth. The sauce has a very subtle flavor but at the same time it gives a great approach on the over-all dish which in the end gives this an enjoyable one to try.

Spinach Cream Cheese Dip
Spinach Dip Review alert! We can’t get enough of this wonderful veggie-based dip so we’ve come to try out Katherine’s Café version. The dip was well presented on a hotplate which will help it to be kept warm thereby retaining the sticky feel of the cheese.
The burnt texture of the dip brings a different taste and texture as you mix it deeply with the spinach underneath along with the toasted bread. You’ll definitely love this, we know we did.

Barbecued Thick Cut Ribs
This is a literal “fall off the bone” moment on this dish from Katherine’s Café. The barbecue sauce has a subtle taste which will give you the most enjoyment all throughout as it is not overpowering. The mashed potato will help you fill up and at the same time
complement the whole dish for you.

Breakfast Sampler
Katherine’s Café serves up a good number of all-day breakfast meals and we believe all of them are good, so we decided to try each one of them in their Breakfast sampler! What a convenient way to try out all of their offerings in one sitting. Now let’s provide snippets of what you will expect on each of their samplers in this dish:
Longganisa: As expected, the saltiness will be at the higher levels on this one but you can wind it down through their own vinegar-based sauce. The frying manner here is perfect for each bite.
Tocino: For those who love their Tocinos crispy, this one’s for you and the usual sweetness is definitely there. Tapa: Katherine’s Café version is the salty one, and we definitely loved it!
Fried Bangus: There is a “Bistek” type of a sauce on top of it and it truly is a treat to have in partnership with the deep fried manner of the meat
