When going on a Food Trip, the aim is to be satisfied from what you will be eating and the rest won’t be a requirement. But what if the food is satisfying and at the same time affordable? We’re expecting that when we recently visited Oras Pares.

Oras Pares offers a wide range of very affordable meals and we were initially overwhelmed on what to choose on our first visit here. We then eventually made up our minds and chose what we want and are featuring them on our food review.

Papa Roy’s Tapsilog

One of their signature dishes, its Beef Tidbits are tender with some hint of juiciness. The Tapa is on the sweet side of the spectrum. Pair it with the Garlic rice and the fried egg, it will be on point.

Papa Roy’s Beef Pares Rice

The sweetness and the saltiness combination of the sauce on this Pares is so great, you can even eat it on its own together with a cup of rice. The Beef chunks will top all the things great on this one.

Tokwa’t Baboy

Tokwa’t Baboy is a staple dish, and the Oras Pares version is no exception. Pork bits is always there, but the crunch of the Tokwa gives this one the edge from the others.
