When a home style cooking becomes popular and turns into a restaurant, it is almost always a hit for those who will try. Such is the case for Mamou as well.
Mamou has quietly established a reputation of becoming a go to restaurant for great tasting steaks along with their own takes on well beloved dishes.
We recently had a chance to visit one of the branches of Mamou and tried some of their dishes. We finally had that chance and will now find out how good (or great) their well known steaks!
We will feature them in this food review.
Alex’s Fried Chicken

There is a lot of fun trying out this dish. First off is the rice in itself is fragrant enough to keep your appetite going. Along with the crispiness of each bite of the fried chicken, this is a very lovable dish for both kids and adults.

Lorenzo’s Truffle Cream Pasta

If you want a very creamy pasta, then this truffle cream pasta of Mamou is really the one for you. It seems the pasta itself is smothered with truffle cream as it is fairly evident on each bite of the pasta. The cheese will help also on some slight saltiness which makes the overall dish enjoyable.

Angus Ribeye USDA steak

Saving the best for last in this food review, this Angus Ribeye steak from Mamou is one for the books!
While ribeye part is one thing that we can say as an entry level on the quality side of making as a steak, the cooking at Mamou is likely to have made it a very enjoyable steak despite. As an added bonus, they have also included the crispy bits on the side which makes it very enjoyable even more! And did we say it served piping hot on a hot plate? You can still even hear some sizzle!

Our hot take on this now famous restaurant – Mamou deserves to be where they are and should be staying there in a long while!
