Time and again, our country is slowly (but surely) embracing the flavors of the world. As our mouths got used to American and Chinese cuisine, we are also now getting used to other countries’ flavors too. Such is the case for Khao Khai as well.

We recently had the chance to try out Khao Khai, a chicken house that specializes Thai Chicken flavors and we’re going to feature some of their dishes in this food review

You’re actually in for a surprise if you don’t know much about Thai fast food and we’re ready to go on an adventure in this food review of Khao Khai.

Yam Kai Dao (Fried Egg Salad)

First off on this food review is one of their appetizers Fried Egg Salad. At first, you would think twice to accept that fact that what they have put on in the salad is an actual fried egg.

To our surprise, it definitely fits! the salty and mild spice taste really complements the over-all flavor as well as the juiciness of the sunny side up egg. Really a must try at least once!

2 pc Gai Tod (Signature Fried Chicken)

Of course, as much as we can, we will try their specialty dish on any restaurant/eatery that we visit and we cannot pass up on Khao Khai ‘s signature fried chicken.

The good thing about their dish is that you will be given two sauces for you to choose from – one to add saltiness on your crunchy chicken and another to add more spice and some sourness into it.

Both are satisfying no matter what sauce you choose – it will add more to an already satisfyingly crunchy fried chicken

Bangkok Liempo with Bagoong Rice upgrade

We thought the chicken is already a darling but the Bangkok version of Pork Liempo is equally satisfying too! The same crunch can be expected but the bagoong rice upgrade most likely added more to become our most favorite in this food review of some Khao Khai offerings!

It is no wonder Khao Khai is a foodie favorite because of its tasty dishes. If you like the saltiness, the crunchiness, and some more spice on your fried Chicken, Khao Khai is really a must visit for you! Just our food review thoughts and we will leave it up to you to decide!
