Southeast Asia is home for a diversified taste of food that one will surely enjoy because of its wide range of flavors. Exotic as it may seem, but going there to truly experience the food is something that you would want to do in one way or the other. But while we can’t do that as of the moment, we’ll just have to enjoy it as nearly authentic as we can, in a local restaurant nearby. With My Thai, it will really make you feel you are in Thailand and having the best time enjoying Thai food.
My Thai Kitchen serves mostly Thai food but since it shares the same space with their sister restaurant Pho Hoa, you can also order Vietnamese food to partner with your Thai favorites, which is really great. However, this time we ordered exclusively Thai food to satisfy our craving.
Here’s what we tried out and what we have experienced:
Shrimp Pad Thai
We are so sorry that we couldn’t provide you a decent image of their Pad Thai because we didn’t have a chance to stop and take a picture as we are so busy devouring it and create a clean plate out of it. The noodles are firm but not too chewy to the point that you really are enjoying them. The toppings are well mixed as well and shrimp chunks are all over the dish. Lastly, the sauce is superb as its taste seeped through the noodles and the other ingredients. For this Pad Thai review, by far the best one we have ever tried.

Chicken Satay
This one is a no-brainer – anything that is grilled and on a skewer is always something brilliant. With that being said, it will boil down with the marinade and its sauces. With My Thai Kitchen‘s version, the peanut sauce is creamy enough for a saucy grub while you can play along with the sour sauce as you go along. All in all, it is an enjoyable treat that you have to try in here.

Com Tom Thit Nuong
This is a rice meal that would truly fill-up your already (possibly) full tummy. The marinated prawns are juicy mainly due to its marinade while the grilled pork are tasty as well. The portions are well enough for another cup of rice which you would probably ask eventually. It may be a heavy meal of a dish, but we don’t see no reason for you try this one for yourself.

These are just some of the dishes that My Thai Kitchen can offer and they have a lot more on their menu. The dishes we tried are really something worthy to try again and we recommend that you would try them out too. Because surely we would be soon.
